Drywall

Absolutely no drywall is to be included in a mixed bin. Drywall only bins are available and must be accompanied by a completed form found here. A test showing the drywall is asbestos free may also be required.

Yard Waste

Includes anything compostable i.e. lawn clippings, leaves, garden waste etc.

Electronics

These include computers and their devices such as keyboards, telephones, stereos and speakers.

Scrap Metal

Anything made predominately of metal should be recycled. If you have a large amount of scrap, metal only bins are available!

Paint

Includes buckets, cans and spray cans

Chemicals

Absolutely no chemicals are allowed. Doing so may cause your bin to be labelled as contaminated and fined by the landfill.

Cardboard

Unless soiled, cardboard is not to be placed in the bins.

Tires

Appliances

Not only include fridges, stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers and microwaves but small appliances are included such as blenders and air fryers!

Mattresses

Mattresses cannot be placed in the bins. Doing so will result in double the tipping fees being charged.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT NOT FOLLOWING THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN BEING FINED BY THE LOCAL LANDFILL.
